East Berkshire Specialist Wheelchair Service – Annual Consultancy Day (ACD)
After a couple of years of Covid lockdowns and travel restrictions it was great to be able to carry out an Annual Consultancy Day as a site visit. Mike Birdsall, Senior Software Developer, arrived nice and early for his first visit since the Service relocated to Abell Gardens, Maidenhead.
The Annual Consultancy Day idea was introduced a few years ago so that our customers would have the opportunity to get together with Soft Options staff to help them make the most of their BEST systems. The time can be used in many ways, but Mike says
“on line meetings are all well and good, and have their place, but I don’t think you can beat face to face for getting to the bottom of issues and coming up with solutions.”
And that was certainly the case for this visit. With a comprehensive agenda prepared in advance, and representatives from all departments giving up their time to take part in the meeting, great progress was made in all areas of discussion.
“We found the day really helpful and informative, and all feel if we could continue with the annual meetings in future that will possibly reduce the number of issues raised and help us work better and smarter.”
